What time do I need to be there?
Please plan to arrive at 7am.
**The group does not wait for latecomers. We do not offer refunds for missed trips.**
What should I bring?
You should bring comfortable shoes, a hat, sunscreen, a wind/rain jacket, swimming costume, and water.
How big are the groups?
To keep things comfortable we aim for 8 Rockhoppers per vehicle although we can accommodate larger groups. Contact us for custom trips.
What is your refund policy?
We will only cancel a trip should road, traffic or weather conditions render the trip unsafe or impossible. Cancelled trips will be refunded in full. We endeavor to cancel trips 24 hours ahead of time, but this is Africa so short-term cancellations can occur. Refunds are made via the same method in which we received the payment.
What is your booking policy?
Bookings are confirmed only when payment has been received. Irregular bookings may be refused at any time. We are available on live chat, Whatsapp, email or telephonically should you have any problems or questions.
How long is the trip?
The trip takes 8 hours.
What is provided?
We provide a registered and insured passenger vehicle with driver and biologist/guide for the day. We cover the road toll and Cape Point National Park entrance fees, Boulders beach is optional and at your own cost.
We’ll bring SA’s finest Rooibos tea, cocoa, and rusks. All other food and drinks are at your own cost.
I’ve rented a car already, why should I take this trip when I can drive myself?
You have limited time in Cape Town, why not worry about soaking up the views, not the traffic. Take in the vistas along winding roads capturing instagram-worth photos of the Cape Peninsula. We’ll worry about missing the traffic, watching the fuel gauge, and making sure you don’t miss any of the local highlights.
Is there an age limit?
We do not have an age limit and encourage youngsters to come along. We do suggest children under the age of 16 are accompanied by an adult.
What happens if we are late?
We do not offer refunds for anyone who misses the vehicle but will do our best to accommodate you on any upcoming trips that you may be available for. Please give us a call or send a whatsapp message and we’ll look for a second pickup location that works for you.
What is your cancellation policy?
If you cancel your booking with more than 2 days notice we’ll let it slide. Less than 2 days notice and we’ll have to charge a 20% cancellation fee. NB **We do not give refunds if you do not arrive or arrive after the vehicle has left.**
